Hey Everyone!

Well, the exciting news is the addition of the 2009 Horizon Award winner, Mikey Avila to the MDR team. Mikey is going to contest the Pro Singles Series for MDR on a 2009 Honda CRF 450. Check out Mikey Avilla's Website.

Mikey just turned 16 in October and will be making his National debut in Daytona in March at the Short Track races. Should be a heck of a "coming out" party for Mike, jumping right in and mixing it up with some fast boys. Mikey has been doing alot of riding and racing at home in California all winter, and has some great results. I know he is excited to go racing, and every time I talk with him, his excitement is rubbing off on me, as I too am getting antsy to get to Florida and burn some race fuel.

We have had alot going on here lately, with the new shop and business, adding a new rider to the team, going to Las Vegas for school at Dyno Jet, and testing and building new components with RHC to keep our stuff ahead of the rest. I am confident that our stuff will be very fast when we get to Florida. It better be, with all the work we are pouring into it. But nothing comes easy, and I welcome the challenge.

We have snuck some ice riding and racing in here and there too, and I must say, keep an eye on Ion Stear #19. Talk about "Most Improved Rider", holy smokes this kid has gotten fast! I can't wait to see him in Florida. And what a good, helpful person he has been with all the work I have thrown at him lately.

So, in closing for now, thanks to everyone who has called to offer well wishes on the shop, thanks to everyone who has been patiently waiting for their parts, and keep Mack's Motorcycles in mind for any and all motorcycle and racing needs and work.
